Welcome!

Spring is glorious this year in Nova Scotia! What’s new? I’m delighted to announce that I’m writing a new book on small landscapes for Martingale. It’s to be published next summer. So, while I’d love to be scrabbling in the garden, I’m deep into fabric with my laptop perched on my ironing board in the studio! I’m loving it!

Please read my new e-newsletter for April. My goal in this newsletter is to foster creative exploration in quilt making, to share ideas and tips about landscapes, quilt design, and learn about other quilters and their fabulous quilts. It’s a resource of useful and interesting information.

Click on “winter 2006” for photos of my trip to Yokohama quilt Festival and Bali.

NEW!!  Send me an email for a free subscription to my e-newsletter “Horizons”. I’ll send you an update when there’s a new newsletter. Keep in touch with news and chances to win sewing notions.

TEFLON PRESSING SHEETS

I am a huge fan of fusible appliqué. I teach this technique in my landscape and collage design workshops. What I cannot work without is a Teflon pressing sheet. It’s a basic tool!

NEW!! Due to a new source, I’ve been able to drop my Teflon sheet prices. I’m very pleased to offer new, very low prices for Teflon on the Web!

QUILTING NOTIONS

Please visit my supplies page to check out some of my other favourite hard to find products like:
Thread Heaven, bead boxes, reducing glass, what I think are the very best English appliqué needles, made by John James. Pay Pal is easy to use and there are discounts for bulk orders.

APPLIQUE & LANDSCAPE DESIGN WORKSHOPS

Check my workshop page for my schedule. I have a lovely 3 day landscape retreat coming up in October, right here in Mahone Bay!  Come and share creativity and glorious fall colour with me in Nova Scotia.

My best to you in creative quilting,
